Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Flight Instructor located in Waukegan, IL. The Flight Instructor will be responsible for conducting flight training sessions, ensuring flight safety, and maintaining accurate training records. Additional duties include preparing students for practical and written examinations, providing ground instruction, and evaluating student progress. The Flight Instructor will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and Golden Wings Team - Flight Training Center’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Instrument Rating and Piloting skills
- Aviation and Commercial Piloting experience
- Flight Safety expertise
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) credential is required
- Experience in flight instruction and a thorough understanding of FAA regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation or related field is preferred
