Server/Cashier

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and take their food orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Process cash, credit, and digital transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in cash register operations.
• Prepare and serve food items in accordance with food safety standards, including basic food preparation and handling.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including bussing tables, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing kitchen equipment.
• Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation.
• Manage customer inquiries regarding menu options, wait times, and special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments with strong knowledge of POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle retail sales transactions confidently.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.
• Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; previous culinary or café experience is a plus.
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations.
• Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members positively.

Pay: $22.01 - $26.50 per hour
