Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels through precise data collection, analysis, and reporting using advanced excel spreadsheet.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies, stock shortages, or overages, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize purchasing strategies and negotiate favorable supplier contracts.
- Utilize data mining techniques and demand planning methods to forecast inventory needs accurately and support production planning initiatives.
- Perform financial analysis related to inventory valuation, pricing strategies, and cost reduction opportunities through financial modeling and supply chain analytics.
- Lead process improvement projects aimed at enhancing inventory accuracy, reducing waste, and increasing operational efficiency.
Skills
- Working knowledge of supply chain management.
- Proficiency with excel and other word and database software programs.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, data mining, root cause analysis, and demand forecasting techniques.
- Effective negotiation skills for sourcing suppliers and managing agreements.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on process improvement initiatives such as inventory control optimization and stocking strategies..
This is a part time job but there is potential for additional hours as we develop the process of maintaining accurate invetory and auditing inventory on a regular bases.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
