The Role: Designer/Drafter
Location: Bloomfield, CT
Type: Contract
What You Ll Do
The primary responsibility of the Designer/Drafter is to create and modify drawings, models, parts, and assemblies using AutoCAD. This role supports Service Engineering s Design Services group and requires a high level of technical proficiency and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Develop and revise detailed drawings, models, and assemblies using AutoCAD
Support design activities for components, assemblies, and packaging solutions
Track, update, and communicate project status to management
Ensure all work complies with company standards and policies
Required Qualifications
Strong creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficient in interpreting and producing technical drawings
Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and their applications
Understanding of engineering principles and their practical application
High school diploma with technical school training, or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent training preferred
