The Role: IT Security Program Manager

This role is responsible for driving large-scale security and compliance programs, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, and enhancing the organization s security posture across SAP and enterprise platforms. Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT Security and SAP Security programs, including IAM, GRC, and SoD remediation efforts.
- Develop and manage integrated program plans spanning multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
- Establish governance frameworks including steering committees, KPIs, and reporting structures.
- Coordinate with Security, SAP Functional, Audit, and Business teams to ensure alignment.
- Drive SOX, ITGC, and regulatory compliance initiatives and audit readiness activities.
- Manage budget, forecasts, vendor performance, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across program lifecycle.
- Provide executive-level reporting and translate technical risks into business impacts.
- 8 years of experience in IT Program or Project Management.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise IT Security or SAP Security programs.
- Strong understanding of IAM, RBAC, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
- Experience working within SOX and IT General Controls (ITGC) frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Advanced certifications, formal project management training preferred (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Six Sigma or equivalent certification).
- SAP Security Certifications
- Experience with SAP GRC (Access Control modules such as ARA, ARM, EAM).
- Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA security concepts.
- Familiarity with IAM tools such as SailPoint, Saviynt, or Okta.
- Experience in audit-driven environments or Big 4 consulting background.
- Certification such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, etc...
- SAP Security certification.
- Demonstrated experience leading large, cross functional project teams across complex, multi stakeholder environments.
- Proven success in introducing, implementing, and standardizing IT Security Processes, methodologies, and governance frameworks to improve delivery consistency and organizational maturity.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, build accountability, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
