The Modernization Fixtures Drafter supports the design and documentation of elevator fixture packages for modernization projects. Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and maintain technical fixture drawings using AutoCAD.
- Translate contract-specific data and design specifications into accurate layouts and drawings.
- Develop base configuration drawings and customize them to meet project requirements.
- Produce approval drawings, revisions, and final construction packages.
- Create build files and documentation required by manufacturing facilities.
- Review project requirements to ensure compliance with standards and customer expectations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including local offices and internal stakeholders.
- Interface directly with the client's local office staff to resolve specification issues and clarify requirements.
- Manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Maintain organized documentation, revision history, and drawing records.
- Follow established drafting standards, processes, and templates.
- Strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and contract documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workload independently.

- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently in a deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
