This role requires strong expertise with middleware and database, with both functional and technical analytical competence to guide end-to-end, reusable solutions. The analyst will collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategy and standards. The position demands initiative and clear communication to propose effective solutions and demonstrate business value to leadership. Responsibilities will include overseeing the full solution lifecycle, including change management through production support.

The Role: Boomi Platform Analyst

What You’ll Do
Our client has an immediate need for a Boomi Platform Analyst! This role will design, develop, maintain, and support solutions using the middleware platform with related enterprise applications systems including ERP. This role requires strong expertise with middleware and database, with both functional and technical analytical competence to guide end-to-end, reusable solutions. The analyst will collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with strategy and standards. The position demands initiative and clear communication to propose effective solutions and demonstrate business value to leadership. Responsibilities will include overseeing the full solution lifecycle, including change management through production support.
Responsibilities
- Define and document functional/technical requirements, build/test plans, and change management documentation.
- Design, develop, and support middleware integrations, APIs, EDI, GUI, and master data hub requirements.
- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases and enterprise data warehouse solutions.
- Perform end-to-end solution design and integration gap analysis.
- Analyze and map source-to-target data transformations.
- Ensure execution excellence using formal tools and methodologies across project lifecycles.
- Stay current on core technologies and apply best practices, policies, and IT change/release protocols.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and escalated support requests.
- Serve as liaison between internal teams and stakeholders for solution delivery.
- Recommend infrastructure improvements for performance, security, and reliability.
- Communicate effectively across all organizational levels to align with business needs.
- Recommend cost-saving enhancements and track solution metrics for value assessment.
- Provide after-hours and on-call support for critical issues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Middleware expertise and experience with Boomi.
- API development experience using middleware platform.
- EDI development experience using middleware platform.
- SQL and procedural programming with MS SQL Server and/or Snowflake databases.
- ERP experience of application administration, development and/or maintenance support
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis skills for end-to-end process and impacts.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills across technical and functional audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- SaaS and/or custom systems experience of application administration, development and/or maintenance support.
