Junior Graphic Designer (GSV)

About The Position

We are looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to work collaboratively within the organization’s Corporate Partnership Insights team, focused on the Golden State Valkyries. In this role, you will contribute to the creative process, gain valuable experience, and play an integral role in developing first class sales proposals, partner venue & event branding, and departmental materials. This position reports to the Director, Partnership Insights (Golden State).

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco with travel to Oakland, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Corporate Partnership proposals and go-to-market materials for the Golden State Valkyries in collaboration with the Partnership Sales & Development teams
• Support Valkyries partnership creative requests such as event signage, in-game activations, event invites, LED spec checks, and newsletter
• Support the development and implementation/install of partner signage at Chase Center for Valkyries home games
• Develop Valkyries-specific case studies that articulate the business challenge, activation objectives, and measurable results
• Work cross-functionally with internal Valkyries stakeholders to build GTM materials for community impact programming, social content series, and marketing platforms
• Create custom graphics, photo, and render mock-ups based on business objectives
• Support the Insights team with overall Commercial creative efforts inclusive of the Golden State Warriors Partnership team and Premium Sales/Service team
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Required Experience & Skills

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Graphic Design, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 1 year working for a creative agency or sports property
• Advertising and/or visual marketing experience with the ability to share a creative portfolio
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to build positive working relationships with team members
• Ability to balance multiple projects in fast-paced work environment

• $26.55 Per Hour Bonus
