Sales Representative | Custom Food Trailers

Golden State Trailers is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to join our team in Olivehurst, California.

We design and build custom commercial food trailers and mobile kitchen systems for operators across the United States.

This position involves working directly with entrepreneurs, restaurants, caterers, schools, franchises, and foodservice operators throughout the process of planning and purchasing custom commercial food trailers.

The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and customer-focused, with the ability to guide clients through a consultative sales process. You will work closely with customers to understand their operational requirements, equipment needs, and business goals while coordinating with internal teams to help deliver successful projects.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound sales inquiries and customer requests

• Conduct discovery calls with prospective clients

• Develop project recommendations based on customer requirements

• Prepare and follow up on quotes and proposals

• Coordinate with design, engineering, and production teams throughout the project development process

• Maintain CRM records and sales documentation

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through professional communication and follow-up

• Achieve established sales objectives while maintaining a high standard of customer service

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple customer conversations and projects

• Professional and customer-focused approach

• Experience in manufacturing, equipment sales, trailers, construction, automotive, commercial vehicles, or foodservice industries is a plus

• Spanish language skills are a plus
