Pouch Machine Operator

About The Role
We’re looking for a Pouch Machine Operator to run pouch and filling equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining accuracy, cleanliness, and product quality.
What You’ll Do
- Operate pouch machines and related equipment (W25-1 & 2, Cryovac, L24, BIB, fillers)
- Load film carts and execute proper film roll installation
- Perform lockout/tagout and follow all safety and food safety procedures
- Adjust weights and settings to maintain product specifications
- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
- Complete production paperwork, downtime logs, and metal detection records
- Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment (CIP/COP)
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–3 months of manufacturing or machine operation experience
- Ability to read instructions, labels, and production paperwork
- Basic math skills for weights and measurements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand 7 hours
- Ability to work in wet, cold, humid, or noisy environments
- Full-time role supporting production operations
- Work includes damp, humid, cold/hot environments and proximity to moving machinery
- PPE required: safety glasses, hearing protection, bump cap, gloves, etc.
