About The Role
We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, and automated manufacturing systems. This role is critical to maximizing equipment uptime, ensuring safe operation, and supporting efficient production processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
Maintenance Mechanic
- Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, and control systems
- Perform electrical diagnostics up to 480V
- Support automation, robotics, and production equipment
- Perform mechanical repairs as needed
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate maintenance standards, expectations, and performance goals to the team
- Partner with production and other departments to coordinate schedules, resolve issues, and improve processes
Education & Experience
- Up to 18 months of post–high school education in engineering, electronics, or a related technical field from an accredited vocational, technical, or junior college
- 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- PLC troubleshooting experience (Allen‑Bradley and/or Siemens)
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- 1–2 years of experience in food processing
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
- Robotics or automation training
- Heavy electrical skills and knowledge
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, refrigeration, pneumatic, boiler, and other mechanical systems (journey level)
- Understanding of maintenance practices in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with OSHA and USDA regulations
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and leadership skills to coach, motivate, and develop a team
- Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic computer applications
- Ability to climb, crawl, squat, kneel, reach, and twist as needed
- Lift, push, pull, or carry objects over 25 lbs.
- Work in a general manufacturing environment withhigh standardsfor quality and safety
