We’re looking for an experienced, dependable Cook / Line Cook who takes ownership of their station, maintains a professional appearance, and understands what it means to work on a serious line.
Role Description
- Execute menu items accurately, efficiently, and in a presentable manner during high-volume service
- Fully set up, maintain, and break down your station independently
- Maintain speed, cleanliness, and organization throughout service
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen standards without reminders
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and FOH during service
- Assist with prep, inventory rotation, and dishwashing when slow and/or as needed
Requirements (Read Carefully)
- Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen
- (Mediterranean restaurant experience is a plus)
- Must be able to speak and understand English (Spanish is a plus)
- Proven reliability: punctual, consistent attendance, and strong work ethic
- Strong knife skills and solid cooking fundamentals
- Knows theirs cooking level temperatures
- Ability to handle high-volume service without supervision
- Quick learner who takes initiative and doesn’t wait to be told what needs to be done
- Desire to keep learning, improving, and growing as a cook
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain immediately)
