Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, respectful, and professional care while promoting each client's dignity and independence.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal hygiene.
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe, clean home environment.
- Provide medication reminders according to the client's care plan.
- Observe, document, and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or mental condition.
- Maintain accurate documentation and protect client confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
- Follow individualized care plans while demonstrating integrity, reliability, professionalism, and accountability.
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license (if required).
- Previous caregiving, home health, CNA, PCA, or direct support experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass any required background checks.
