What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Service Technician position at Golden Rule Auto Care?
- Working towards General Service ASE or maintaining
- Training hours completed: 40hrs (Company paid)
- Under 30 minutes time it takes to do an oil change following our standard operating procedure
- Use Digital Vehicle Inspection with images and videos if applicable on each vehicle
- Use Digital Work Order for completing work
- Complete full write up of vehicle
- Issues/Scheduled Maintenance
- Ask technician for help in identifying leaks/suspension play
- Minimum 25% productivity or within 50% of overall shop productivity
- Responsible for sharing State Inspections duties
- Responsible for sharing shuttle driving duties
- Responsible for parts pickup
- Capable of learning:
- Oil change
- Maintenance items/Flushes
- Brake job (w/technician assist)
- Basic diagnostics
- Alignments (w/technician assist)
- State inspections
- Cleaning Duties
- Clean bathroom every morning
- Mop shop bays after work completed
- Empty trash when full
- Mow lawn
- Pickup Trash
- Keep parking lot clean
- Maintain/clean shop vehicles
- Need to stay busy at all times: Cleaning & Training
- No cell phones when engaged with a vehicle
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License (Required)
