Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Client Service Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Client Service Specialist is responsible for guiding prospects and clients through the administrative aspects of big financial transitions, such as retirement. Tasks include form generation, moving money, and processing rollovers and account transfers. The CSS may also be responsible for preparing internal and/or client facing reports.
Duties
- Account opening paperwork
- Assist new and existing clients with transferring new assets and accounts; this may include occasional conference calls to initiate retirement plan rollovers
- Assist beneficiaries with administrative aspects of inheritance upon client death
- Existing account paperwork such as beneficiary forms, journal requests, authorized signer updates, etc.
- Enter requests for cash contributions or withdrawals
- Preparing internal and external reports
- Stay current with back office documentation requirements
- Participate in firmwide projects that impact large numbers of accounts and/or households
- Support client service team with miscellaneous administrative work as needed
Qualifications
- Preference given to candidates with a minimum of two years in a support, sales or administrative role in financial services environment, with consideration given to other service industry experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
