Full Job Description
$1500 sign-on bonus ($500 at 90 days, $500 at 6 months, $500 at 1 year)
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment.
- Monitor and document vital signs, changes in health status, and daily care activities.
- Administer medications according to care plans and maintain accurate records.
- Support mobility and transfers, including safe use of equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding based on dietary needs.
- Follow safety rules and infection control procedures at all times.
- Engage clients in activities that support social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and well-being.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Driver’s License (Required) – reliable transportation may be necessary for some clients.
- Must obtain PSS Certificate within 9 months of hire (must begin class within 2 months).
- CNA certification or previous caregiving experience preferred (home care, long-term care, group homes, or memory care).
- 1 year of client care experience preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR systems a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong attention to detail
