You will assist functional leads to ensure requirements are properly integrated and lead overall operations E&R execution. Your leadership will help achieve E&R performance expectations, compliance, and continuous improvement.

You will assist functional leads to ensure requirements are properly integrated and lead overall operations E&R execution. Your leadership will help achieve E&R performance expectations, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties / Functions
- Supervise a component of the Golden Pass LNG Safety Security Health and Environment (SSHE) program, inclusive of technical and administrative aspects. Supervises assigned personnel and provides guidance on their work activities.
- Provides technical support within SSHE teams and to Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Startup, Operations, Legal, Contracts, Procurement, Management, and other functions regarding E&R program execution.
- Emphasizes and uses risk assessment, data analysis, and Golden Pass Management System to help track and achieve continual improvement.
- Oversees the preparation of technical and regulatory reports, research issues to support E&R program execution, evaluate data, and reports performance trends.
- Participates in emergency response planning and confirms investigation and resolution of environmental and regulatory incidents.
- Builds and maintains working relationships with stakeholders and addresses their issues. Participates in and leads meetings with customers, team members, and contractors/subcontractors to advise them of safety and health requirements.
- Acts as Golden Pass representative during on-site agency inspections and off-site industry meetings and conferences.
- Assist remaining construction project and commissioning teams with guidance on E&R issues and compliance as they arise.
- Participates in meetings to advise of E&R requirements that may affect commissioning and startup schedules.
- Conducts E&R assessments/inspections of plant and pipeline operations to monitor compliance with E&R requirements including laws and regulations, and Golden Pass policies and procedures.
- Leads and participates as required in incident investigations, reviews Initial Incident Notifications, conducts investigations, and completes Incident Investigation Reports, meeting quality and timeframe expectations.
- Participates in on-call rotation and as a member of the plant and pipeline Incident Management Teams.
Minimum education required of the position
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science or environmental
- 10 years of environmental and regulatory work experience, in Oil and Gas, or petrochemical facilities.
- Working knowledge of national environment (air, water and waste) and regulatory laws/regulations and industry standards/current practices for E&R, and best management practices for minimizing potential E&R risks.
- Experience in managing and/or providing technical oversight of E&R contractors and consultants.
- Good personnel management, interpersonal skills, communications & organizational skills are essential with particular attention to effectively developing, leading, and motivating a team of E&R professionals.
