Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of beverages, and ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for customers
- Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures
- Follow recipes and guidelines for preparing specialty cocktails
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
Skills:
- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in bartending or related roles
- Knowledge of brewing techniques, mixology, and drink recipes
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
