Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion ingredients according to the recipes and standards set by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
- Maintain a well-organized and clean workstation, ensuring efficient and smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure all prepared items meet quality standards and are consistent with menu specifications.
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Previous experience as a Prep Cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
- Basic understanding of food preparation techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in food preparation.
- Efficient time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
