Responsibilities
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Surveillance, the incumbent is responsible for the maintenance and overall upkeep of all surveillance equipment and alarm systems.
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State law and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees
- Repair and maintain CCTV equipment used for surveillance.
- Maintain an inventory of CCTV equipment and be liaison with equipment supplies for obtaining bids and purchases.
- Participate in installation, movement and removal of surveillance related equipment to assure gaming protection and internal controls for gaming regulations.
- Maintain proper gaming logs in order to comply with state or internal regulations.
- Ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
- Promote positive public/employee relations at all times.
- Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Safeguard the confidential information of all employee, department and company records.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
- Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) year electronics degree or equivalent experience in electrical maintenance and repair is preferred.
- One (1) year casino surveillance experience required.
