Security Shift Supervisor
A security Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations during thier assigned shift to endure the safety and security of guest and employees.
Responsibilities
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Assists with the transportation of company assets between various departments and in preparing required reports.
- Responsible for supervision of Security Officers in assigned area and for the safety and security of guests, employees and company assets.
- Complies with CCC / DGE rules and regulations and with company policies and procedures.
- Monitors CCTV taping systems to ensure that cameras are properly working.
- Maintains forms, temporary badging, security journals, log books, security equipment, and medical supplies.
- Answers guest questions and responds to complaints. Responsible for training officers and maintaining lost & found operations during your assigned shift.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma required.
- College education preferred.
- Law enforcement/security management experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience in a comparable sized organization preferred.
- Availability to work varied shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and stressful environment
- CPR certificate preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
- Must have successfully completed training in handcuff / restraint sessions and is physically capable of performing required duties.
- Must be thoroughly familiar with all New Jersey Casino Control Commission regulations.
- Must be eligible to obtain or currently possess a Casino Employee Registration from the NJ DGE.
