Intermediate Cook - Chairman's Club

Overview

An intermediate cook in a casino is responsible for preparing and cooking food in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. This role typically requires experience in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring the quality and consistency of dishes. The cook will assist in menu execution, follow recipes, maintain cleanliness, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards. They may also help supervise kitchen staff, manage inventory, and ensure timely service to meet customer expectations. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Assists cook in preparing, seasoning and garnishing all foods in assigned area in accordance with established procedures.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• One (1) year work experience in a similar environment.
• Training in food preparation required.

Pay Range
