Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern
- Apply knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to deliver safe and effective therapies
- Educate clients on pain management strategies and occupational health practices
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor client progress over time
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment in compliance with health regulations
- Provide exceptional patient service by listening attentively and customizing sessions to meet specific health goals
- Stay updated with the latest techniques in medical spa treatments and massage therapy advancements
Experience
- Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on customer satisfaction in a healthcare or spa setting
- Hands-on experience with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Prior work in occupational health or medical spa environments is highly desirable
- Experience with patient assessment to develop personalized treatment plans is preferred
- Strong understanding of patient care protocols combined with excellent communication skills to foster trust and comfort
