Job Summary
Weekend Caregiver (PCA/HHA/CNA) – 12-Hour Shifts
Golden Heart Care Services LLC is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dependable caregivers to provide one-on-one care and support to clients in their homes. We are looking for individuals who are committed to providing high-quality care while promoting independence, dignity, comfort, and safety.
Schedule:Weekend availability is required. Current openings include Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM, with occasional Saturday overnight shifts from 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM. These are 12-hour shifts.
Pay:$19.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
Duties:
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
- Provide mobility and transfer assistance
- Provide companionship and safety supervision
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Provide medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
- Assist with transportation and errands as needed
- Observe and report changes in the client’s condition
- Complete required care documentation accurately
- Maintain client privacy and confidentiality
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
Qualifications:
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- PCA, HHA, CNA, or equivalent caregiving experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, punctual, compassionate, and professional
- Must successfully complete required background screening and drug testing
- Must be comfortable working 12-hour weekend shifts
- Must be committed to arriving on time and maintaining a reliable schedule
