Days & Hours: Variable weekly schedule to be established by supervisor. Must work onsite every Thursday.
BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB:
Provide administrative, organizational, operational, and research support to GGU Admissions Team. This position will include training in Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, myGGU, and our SIS system, Ellucian Colleague. Assist with other projects and administrative tasks as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Process transcripts and application documents, including accurate data entry, and notify the Admissions team of application updates.
- Communicate with Enrollment Counselors, applicants, agents, and partners regarding missing or additional requirements to ensure timely processing of admissions.
- Coordinate and support Admissions team initiatives and projects.
- Collaborate with internal departments including Financial Aid, Student Success Coaches, GGU Worldwide, Advising, and faculty to ensure a high level of service for all students; escalate issues as appropriate.
- Collect, verify, and make copies of official domestic and international transcripts on-site.
- Participate in activities that support student onboarding and serve as a resource for faculty and staff.
- Identify and resolve system errors, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency.
- Assist with registration file preparation and related administrative tasks.
- Manage shared Admissions inboxes, respond to general inquiries, and route messages to the appropriate team members as needed.
- Other related duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a current student enrolled at Golden Gate University
Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Flexible, adaptable, and supremely motivated.
- Additional language proficiency beyond English is a plus.
