Description
Summary: Cleans and services assigned area according to standards of cleanliness set by management to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment for our guests. Follows all operating procedures, safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
- Regularly cleans items such as trash cans, windows, doors and mirrors as well as elevators and escalators, floors, light fixtures and monitors.
- Scrubs and disinfects trashcans, sinks, toilets, urinals, furniture and fixtures.
- Handles and disposes of biohazard materials in accordance with OSHA training provided by the company.
- Replenishes supplies in the casino area and work areas.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 1 to 6 months of related experience preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to functionally communicate occupational-based English, both written and verbal
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- None
- Ability to work with cleaning products, chemicals and solvents using safety equipment provided by the company.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
- Working indoors, continuously standing and walking for a majority of the time.
- Occasionally lift, bend/kneel and working outdoors.
- Hearing, vision, speech and literacy (critical).
