Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
- Greet guests with a warm welcome and promptly escort them to their seats
- Accurately manage assigned bank, obtain change as needed, and notify surveillance when transporting funds
- Answer phones professionally, assist with guest inquiries, and handle complaints when Manager on Duty is unavailable
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and POS/manual transaction systems
- Assist guests with information regarding hotel services, features, and local attractions
- Ensure cleanliness and readiness of the entrance, tables, menus, and stations; report and correct deficiencies
- Recognize and accommodate VIP arrivals and special requests
- Provide friendly departing remarks and invite guests to return
- Demonstrate sound judgment under pressure and strong organizational skills
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and company data
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 6 months of experience in a full-service dining venue preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
- Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment
- Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
- Required based on property location or regional regulations
- Occasionally push/pull up to 25lbs.
