Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Triaxle Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a triaxle truck, delivering stone and asphalt efficiently across designated routes, and ensuring timely load and unload operations.
Duties
- Operate a CDL licensed triaxle truck across diverse routes, adhering strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Load and unload
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, checking brakes, tires, lights, and load securement to maintain optimal safety standards
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet schedule commitments while minimizing delays and fuel consumption
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and inspection reports in compliance with DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers
Experience
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty trucks with in a commercial driving environment
- Prior delivery driver experience handling freight across multiple trailer types such as refrigerated loads, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations, including DOT compliance and vehicle maintenance standards
- Strong attention to detail for completing accurate logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation
