Job Summary
Golden Eagle Plaza Senior Living Community has a full-time opening for a Dietary Server.
We are seeking a dedicated, outgoing, friendly-self motivated individual who enjoys keeping busy, working with food & interacting with Senior Citizens.
Responsibilities
- Serve meals and beverages to residents within a scheduled time frame.
- Assist with food preparation while ensuring proper food handling.
- Following sanitation protocols, maintaining and cleaning food service areas.
- Buss tables promptly after meals, sanitize tables and set tables for next meal.
- Washing and putting away dishes, sweeping & mopping dining room floors.
- Ensure that daily & weekly cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging positively with residents, addressing their needs courteously, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
- All other tasks and duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
- Previous experience in Dietary Service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to maintain productivity under minimal supervision & maintain a professional demeanor under stress.
- Relate to and get along well with co-workers and maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, and safe lifting techniques.
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment and adhering to workplace safety protocols.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy meal periods.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting and prolonged standing or walking.

Benefits include vacation & sick pay following a 6-month probationary period & holiday pay. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
