What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic position at Golden Eagle Equipment?
Golden Eagle Equipment & Sany of Pittsburgh is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic. Mechanic is responsible for helping the company provide excellent quality repair through diagnosis, maintenance, and repair.
The position is full-time (M-F 8-4:00) with benefits available. No weekends necessary. Competitive hourly pay based on experience (not flat rate), paid vacation, and holidays.
Responsibilities include:
1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered tractors, and Heavy Equipment (skid steers, excavators)
2. Analyze/diagnose major repairs needed for engines, transmissions, differentials, motors (Etc.) and make proper repairs.
3. Electrical troubleshooting and repair
4. Assembly of new machines and equipment
5. Knowledge of operation of heavy equipment for testing
6. Welding capabilities preferred but not required
7. Following the proper procedure for tracking service hours for accurate billing
8. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work on concrete flooring, and work in any weather condition.
Qualifications: 3 years of experience preferred: however entry-level applicants will also be considered and are encouraged to apply. Must provide your own tools and possess a Valid Driver’s license.
