Responsibilities
- Conduct behind-the-wheel driving lessons for adult and teenage students, ensuring they develop safe driving habits and skills.
- Assess each student’s driving abilities and customize instruction to meet their individual learning needs.
- Demonstrate proper vehicle control, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques during practical sessions.
- Provide clear, constructive feedback to students to improve their driving performance and confidence.
- Ensure all lessons are conducted in compliance with local traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages student engagement and learning.
Skills
- Proven experience in driving, with a clean and valid driver’s license.
- Proven experience as a driving instructor is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate to become an instructor.
- Bilingual required: English plus another language.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Candidates interested in a long-term position are highly preferred.
- Strong teaching ability.
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback.
- Skills to maintain focus and discipline during practical lessons.
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, safety protocols, and defensive driving techniques.
