Summary:
• Contribute to the dining experience by providing quality cleaning of dishes, utensils, and all other kitchen accessories.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• To maintain dish equipment and dish area in accordance with company policy
• To ensure all plates, silverware, glasses, pots, and pans are thoroughly washed and put in their proper place
• Keep kitchen free of garbage and spills as they occur
• Comply with all state and local sanitation policies
• To help out the cooks as instructed
• To know where all soaps and chemicals are stored
• To be knowledgeable of what all chemicals are specifically used for
• Demonstrate awareness of volume sanitation responsibility
• To know opening and closing responsibilities
• To attend all meetings and/or training sessions. All meetings and training sessions are considered mandatory.
• To perform other duties as assigned.
General Qualifications:
• Practice good hygiene at all times
• Ability to work at a fast pace in a confined area
Education and/or Experience:
• GED or High School Diploma preferred, but not required
