Bar / Kitchen Staff

Responsibilities and essential Bar and Kitchen job functions include but are not limited to the following:

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience as well as prepare and serve a light food menu. While not behind the bar, we want a bartender that will walk the casino floor and attend to the guests. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly pay and tips. Must be able to pass background check and get an ABLE license.

Shall be tasked with doing your part to help the kitchen operate as efficient & effective as possible. This will require an adaptive and willingness to do what is necessary to ensure food & safety compliance as well as Guest service & satisfaction.

• Prepare alcohol or mixed beverages for bar and casino guests
• Prepare a light food menu as ordered
• Assess guests’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Plan and present bar menu
• Check guests’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Inventory Food and Bar Nightly
• Restock and replenish bar and kitchen inventory and supplies
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations
• Keep policies and procedures up to date
• Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils
• Clean and sanitize food preparation work stations
• Assist in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, slicing, and washing vegetables, meats, and other ingredients
• Follow all food health and safety requirements
• Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage
• Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors
• Physical ability to stand for an entire shift and lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Existing knowledge of food safety procedures preferred
• Cash Handling & Credit Card Transaction comprehension
• Inventory Control
• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $11.00 per hour
