We are the Golden Crown Dutchess Driving School, looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to work full-time and perform a variety of administrative tasks. We are looking for someone who knows Dutchess County and is bilingual in Spanish which is a high priority. A high number of our clients are Spanish speaking. We need someone available Monday through Friday and some Saturdays. You will be responsible for managing, organizing and scheduling driving lessons and booking road test appointments for our Driving Instructors in Dutchess county. Our main office is located here in Wappingers Falls. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills. If you have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.

Responsibilities
- Answer and call back any missed calls
- Organize, schedule driving lessons and book road test appointments
- Confirm driving lessons for all instructors
- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
- Develop and maintain a filing system
- Provide general support to visitors
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
Skills
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
- Bilingual in Spanish big plus
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular ZOOM)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Entitled to 5 paid personal days which cannot be used between Memorial day and Labor Day weekend as this is our busy season. You must work 6 months before you are entitled to your 5 paid personal days. It can be used for vacation or sick days.
