About the Role: Golden Corral is America's #1 buffet and grill, and running our kitchen is not your average restaurant job. We are a massive, high-volume, fast-paced operation. We are currently looking for a dynamic Kitchen Manager to serve as the General Manager's right-hand person. In this role, you won't just be hiding in the back—you will act as an Assistant General Manager, overseeing the engine of the kitchen while seamlessly crossing over to manage the dining room and guest experience.

What You Will Do:
- Run the Engine: Oversee all Back-of-House (BOH) operations, including heavy food prep, hot-line execution, and constant buffet rotation to ensure flawless food quality and presentation.
- Total Operations (AGM Duties): Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD) in the GM's absence, confidently managing both BOH staff and Front-of-House (FOH) guest relations.
- Financial Control: Manage food inventory, ordering, and waste tracking to hit strict food cost and P&L goals.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, schedule, and mentor a large staff of cooks, prep teams, bakers, and servers.
- Safety & Sanitation: Strictly enforce all local health department regulations, safety standards, and ServSafe protocols.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
- 2-3 years of Restaurant Management experience (Experience in high-volume, buffet, or corporate casual dining is a massive plus).
- A true "hands-on" leader who is comfortable jumping on the line to carve meat, checking the buffet, or talking to guests in the dining room.
- Strong administrative skills, including scheduling, inventory management, and labor cost control.
- Current ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain one quickly).
- The physical stamina to stay on your feet and lead a team in a demanding, high-energy environment.
