Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or event setups.
- Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed in a timely manner according to established schedules.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift items as needed during cleaning tasks.
