Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of snacks and beverages with attention to quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Engage customers with friendly service, upselling products to enhance their experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning carts, utensils, and work areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Manage inventory levels on the cart, restocking supplies as needed to ensure continuous service.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including basic math calculations for change and sales totals.
- Assist with food safety practices such as proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures to ensure health standards are met.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments such as quick service restaurants, cafes, or grocery stores is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in transaction processing.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining high-quality service.
- Proven ability to upsell products confidently to maximize sales opportunities.
- Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and basic math ensures accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitation practices is highly valued.
