What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobile Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP position at Golden Behavioral Health?
We are seeking a Remote Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - PMHNP to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Golden Behavioral Health has expanded its psychiatric, mental, & behavioral health services in Northern Utah. Our goal is to serve the geriatric population and help them be happy by improving their mental health.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
- Psychiatric Medication Management
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Specialize in working with individuals with depression, anxiety, mental and behavioral health concerns
- Implement mental & behavioral management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches with team of therapists, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Perform comprehensive physical and mental / behavioral examinations of patients
- Utilize ICD-10 codes for accurate documentation and billing purposes
Qualifications:
- Master's degree as a PMHNP
- Hold valid Utah state licensure
- Prefer a minimum of 1 year mental health experience
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Work in collaboration with the team and outside referring sources/partners
- Utah APRN License
- DEA Certification
- One year minimum treating psychiatric conditions
