Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and preparation, with a focus on baking delicious and high-quality products. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a wide range of products, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofers safely and efficiently.
• Package finished products for display or sale while ensuring proper presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods.
• Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
• Stay updated on current baking trends and techniques to enhance product offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the culinary field.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen sanitation.
• Proficiency in using kitchen tools, including knives and baking equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• A passion for baking and creativity in developing new recipes is highly desirable.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as required.
