Position Summary
As an RN at Golden Age of Welsh, you will play a vital role in resident care by overseeing clinical services, ensuring high standards of nursing practice, and supporting both residents and their families. You will work collaboratively with a skilled care team to promote a safe, healthy, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with residents' individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident health and respond to changes in condition
- Lead and support CNAs and other care staff
- Maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Promote a positive, resident-centered atmosphere
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities
- Compassion and a genuine desire to serve the elderly
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but not required
