We are seeking a Laundry Attendant to join our team in Welsh. In this vital role, you will ensure that all laundry services are performed efficiently and effectively, contributing to the comfort and well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and personal clothing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
- Inspect items for damage or stains and report as necessary
- Adhere to infection control protocols during laundry processes
- Ensure proper handling of chemicals and cleaning supplies
- Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies
- Collaborate with staff to meet the laundry needs of residents
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry services or a similar role is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Knowledge of safe handling practices for cleaning chemicals is a plus
