Who we are:
We are Golden Acres, boarding homes consisting of 9 houses in Hancock and Washington Counties, Maine. We serve people of all backgrounds and all abilities, assisting them with daily care, ensuring physical, mental and emotional health and well-being, while maintaining their sense of self and the world around them. We work closely with family, guardians, medical personnel, and other agencies to arrange logistics and transportation to programs, appointments and recreation.
Pay is negotiable.
Some living arrangements are available for those willing to relocate.
PSS, CNA and/or CRMA certifications preferred but we will train the right person.
You must have a desire to help people with high needs, emotionally and physically, and do so with patience, empathy and professionalism – No Exceptions!
Must be able and willing to:
- Follow directions.
- Work as part of a team towards a common goal.
- Work independently when needed, assuring all your responsibilities are completed.
- Thoroughly and accurately complete ALL necessary documentation.
- Learn all of the day to day tasks involved in maintaining the health and safety of the residents and their home.
- Participate in all mandatory trainings and meetings.
- Perform other tasks as requested by management.
