JOB DESCRIPTION
Golden 1 offers a personalized and enriching internship experience. Our goal is to provide interns with exposure to a dynamic, mission-driven organization while developing their professional skills and expanding their understanding of the financial services industry.
Throughout the 8-week program, interns will participate in:
- Department-specific assignments and projects aligned with business needs
- Professional development workshops
- Networking opportunities with Golden 1 leaders and teams
- A capstone group project, presented to senior leadership at the end of the program
Interns may be placed in a variety of departments across the organization based on business priorities and intern interests. Possible placements include, but are not limited to:
Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Member Experience, Community Relations, Technology, and other business units.
Interns will receive support, guidance, and real-world experience to help them grow personally and professionally while gaining a deeper understanding of credit union operations.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student as defined by your school or institution
- GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Junior or Senior standing in the upcoming Fall semester
- Interest in learning about the financial services industry and contributing to a collaborative team environment
PROGRAM OVERVIEW & DETAILS
- Program Duration: 8 weeks
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Compensation: Paid internship
- Golden 1 does not provide housing reimbursement or relocation assistance
LOCATION
This role may be remote, hybrid, or in-person depending on departmental needs and current CDC and Cal/OSHA guidance. Interns will be notified of specific expectations in advance.
