The Litigation Paralegal Lead plays a key role in strengthening the consistency, quality, and effectiveness of the Litigation Paralegal team. This position focuses on training, coaching, auditing, and reinforcing best practices while partnering closely with the Director of Operations and supervising attorneys. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, process-driven, confident in coaching peers, and deeply knowledgeable about plaintiff litigation workflows.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement after the initial training period at our Clayton, MO office.

Key Responsibilities
• Train and onboard new Litigation Paralegals using structured 30/60/90-day plans, SOPs, and firm workflows.
• Conduct weekly spot-check audits and monthly structured audits to ensure file quality, client communication standards, deadline tracking, and Litify documentation accuracy.
• Identify risks early and provide clear, actionable feedback to paralegals.
• Support workflow consistency, process adherence, and Litify best practices across the department.
• Assist with workload balancing, coverage planning, and team support during high-volume periods.
• Serve as a resource for Litify troubleshooting, workflow improvements, and process updates.
• Step in to manage caseloads when a paralegal departs to ensure continuity and file progression.
• Provide insights and trends to leadership regarding file health, training progress, and system adoption.
Qualifications
• Three or more years of plaintiff personal injury litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of litigation case progression and paralegal responsibilities.
• Experience training, coaching, or supporting legal staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify problems independently, communicate them appropriately, and drive resolution.
• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and legal professionals while maintaining a positive, professional approach.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain clean, consistent electronic files.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required.
• Experience with Litify preferred.
Education & Experience Requirements
• Associate’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation.
