Goldberg Segalla, a dynamic and collaborative law firm with a national presence, seeks a highly motivated and organized individual to join its team as a Workers' Compensation Deposition Paralegal in our Buffalo, NY office. This job is responsible for coordinating Board directed depositions by working with claimant’s counsel, treating physician(s) and/or independent medical examiner(s), and court reporters to timely submit deposition transcripts and legal memorandum of law.

This role offers a hourly salary and bonus opportunity. The hourly salary range for this position is $18 to $21. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law. This position also offers a full benefits package. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: :
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Programs including Word, Outlook, TEAMS, Calendar, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation legal practice, legal terminology, medical and insurance claims terminology, and billing
- Coordinate depositions with multiple parties and subpoena non-compliant doctors.
- Draft documents (subpoenas, Affirmations, affidavits, correspondences including but not limited to letters requesting deposition, letters requesting cooperation, cancellation letters, etc.) accurately.
- Communicate effectively with doctors' offices, claimant’s counsel, court reporters, etc. in the coordination of depositions.
- Calendar and manage attorney deposition schedules.
- Organize and maintain documents in the firm's management system.
- Capture billable time in the firm’s iTimekeep system.
- Respond to client inquiries timely and professionally.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Associate’s degree or higher, 2 years in an administrative environment.
