Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and empathetic recent law graduate to join our personal injury practice as an Associate Attorney. this is an excellent opportunity for a newly minted lawyer or an individual awaiting Massachusetts bar exam results who is eager to build a meaningful, long-term legal career on Cape Cod and/or the South Coast. You will work directly with a senior partner who is committed to mentoring you through every phase of civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a personal injury caseload from initial intake through settlement or trial.
*Identify & build value of claims and the drafting settlement demands pre-litigation.
*Conduct pre-litigation settlement negotiations
*Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
*Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive cases memoranda.
*Attend depositions, hearings, and arbitrations alongside senior counsel (and independently, once barred).
*Communicate directly and empathetically with clients, medial praoviders, and insurance adjusters.
*Assist in trial preparation and participate in courtroom proceedings.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
