What You'll Do
- Leads and/or delegates the on-site maintenance staff in diagnosis of problems and repair in areas such as heating, A/C, electrical, plumbing, etc. and records associated with the requests
- Routinely inspects buildings and grounds for safety, appearance and operational efficiency
- Maintain the overall appearance of the community and ensure safety of all residents.
- Utilize your troubleshooting skills to respond to a wide variety of residential service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare apartment homes for rent by performing various repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool, carpentry, building exteriors and appliances.
- Reviews all work orders and ensures that they are completed in a timely and accurate matter
- Work together with Maintenance Supervisor to create and maintain a community residents are proud to call home.
- Trains, supervises, motivates and disciplines all on-site maintenance technicians as necessary with approval of Maintenance Supervisor
What We Need:
- 3-5 years of multifamily apartment maintenance
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Verifiable hands on experience repairing plumbing, electrical, carpentry items, building exteriors and appliances
- Dedication to exceeding the needs of all customers with an ability to build and maintain relationships
- Demonstrate thoroughness, self-motivation and organization when accomplishing tasks
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends and on -call hours
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- EPA certification (Minimum Type II) and substantial experience in making HVAC related repairs
