Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Technical Writer/Editor.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Prepares and/or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation and user documentation.
- Translates business specifications into user documentation.
- Plans, writes, and maintains systems documentation.
- Supports system user documentation efforts, including development of change notices, online help screens and generation of interactive computer based training modules.
- Writes, edits, proofreads, and copyedits a variety of documents.
- Plans and prepares documents for dissemination.
- Manages the documentation library.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and deliver technical solutions independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 4 years of experience and with configuration control experience.
- Clearance: Public Trust
- Citizenship: US Citizen by birth or naturalization
Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $118,000 annually.
