Learn more about us at goldback.com.About The RoleThe Community Outreach Assistant will support our Director of Community in strengthening relationships with our merchant network and volunteer base. This part-time role (2025 hours per week) will play a key role in outreach, communication, and support, helping our Goldback merchants feel connected, supported, and well-informed. Your efforts will directly contribute to Goldbacks mission.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct cold outreach (phone, email, or other channels) to merchants and prospective merchants in our network, checking if they need materials, support, or have questions.Maintain and update merchant contact lists.Assist the Community Director in day-to-day tasks: scheduling calls, following up with merchants, coordinating volunteer efforts, organizing outreach campaigns.Help coordinate community-focused events or outreach initiatives, including reminders, logistics, and communications.Collaborate with other departments (e.g. marketing, sales) as needed to support merchant or community needs.Qualifications & SkillsStrong communication skills and comfortable with phone calls and outreach to business owners.Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable. Comfortable managing contact lists and follow-ups.Friendly, professional, customer-service oriented, and able to represent Goldback positively.Self-motivated, able to work under supervision but also take initiative.Prior experience in outreach, customer service, community work, or administrative support is a plus, but not strictly required.Must be able to commute to Lehi, UT office.Ability to work 20-25 hours per week.Why Youll Love Working HereJoin a mission-driven team shaping the adoption of a unique gold-backed currency, work closely with passionate colleagues, and gain experience in community building and merchant relations.
