Gold Star Foods is a national distribution company with a facility in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, specializes in providing schools and state government facilities high quality food and excellent customer service. This integral position within the organization is the face of the company, meeting customers and delivering products in a friendly, professional manner.
Compensation Starting Rate: $27.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3 AM Start
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience, preferably in a CDL Delivery Driver position
- Availability to work overtime and possible overnight layovers
- Clean MVR for the past 3 years
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings and drug tests

Principle responsibilities:
- Responsible for delivering freight and maintaining positive relationships with our valued customers
- Maintain a delivery schedule
- Collect signed invoices for product at each stop
- Unloading of trucks
- Complies with all DOT rules and regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
- Other duties as assigned
- Consistent, punctual attendance is a key responsibility
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

- Ability to follow safety regulations and check mechanics of the vehicle
- Capacity to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate a hand dolly on a daily basis
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to exercise good judgement
